This website of mine started out as an educational project I was doing in my free time. I just wanted to build a website from the ground up. This meant starting with a Linux computer, configuring it to run as a web server, setting up the server software. Then coding the website and all features myself. This is essentially a control freak's project. And that in itself was an immensely rewarding experience.
It turned into a kind of blog for myself where I am currently writing about games, and sometimes other topics of interest. I do have plans to add more features to this website, but there is no timetable. I work in this website in my free time. I currently work a full time job, and it is very important for me to unwind after my job and that means playing games.... or sleeping. Then, when I'm done with all that, I work on this website. Sometimes I do it more frequently, it all depends on how much energy I have left after work.
By now, I do have a few visitors. Not many, but this website is at least getting some visits now and then. If you are reading my articles and enjoy it, then that is all I could wish for. Games make me happy, and I want to share that happiness around.
But if some of you want to support this website further, then that would be totally awesome. For that purpose, I've created a Patreon page. For now, I have a simple goal: Cover all my monthly costs related to running this website.
