Sacrifice Ritual
The Sacrifice ritual allows you to sacrifice some of your minions or prisoners in order to obtain other minions. In most cases this is not a good deal, but if you have plenty of time then it may be interesting to summon units that are otherwise not obtainable. You may even summon boss units, although you usually get a unit with different statistics than the one you face in the campaigns.
To perform the Sacrifice Ritual you will need to have a Sanctuary and the Sacrifice ritual. Then simply start the Ritual from the Rituals tab. Now you need to drop three minions or prisoners on the central altar in the Sanctuary. Some of the Sacrifice recipes present multiple choices for some of the inputs, making it easier to follow the recipe. We can look at the Golden Weaver as an example. In order to summon a Golden Weaver, you need to first sacrifice a Sentinel. Second sacrifice is a Crackpot. For the third and last sacrifice you have multiple options, either a Sentinel, or a Crackpot, or a Micropiglet, or a Delicious Rat.
Some sacrifices require either Micropiglets or Rats. Micropiglets can be taken directly from your Slaughterpen. Rats appear inside of your Prison. As long as you have these rooms built, then you have an infinite supply of Micropiglets and Rats.
