Oberon
"Mendecaus' Right Hand"
During the War for the Overworld campaign, the player takes on the role of Oberon. Oberon has newly returned after having previously been banished to the Aether when the Dungeon Core in his home realm was destroyed. As Oberon, the player then leads the assault on the land of Kairos.
The Under Games campaign, which takes place a long time before the main War for the Overworld campaign, has Oberon appearing as an opponent to the player. Mendechaus, the evil god that commands the Underlords, seems to favor Oberon over the other Underlords.
Oberon is also an AI personality for Skirmish and Multiplayer games.
The ending to the War for the Overworld campaign, show that Oberon was in fact an Overseer, which is an agent for the good goddess Kira. He was sent as a double agent to appear as an Underlord and foil the plans of the evil god Mendechaus.
Theme: Standard
The Standard theme is unlocked from the beginning, and available to all players.
Color: Green, Red
Oberon appears with the green color at all times, except the final two levels of the War for the Overworld campaign. When Oberon has gained control of the Kenos, his color changes to red.
